Bruxism "gnashing of teeth" is characterized by the grinding of the teeth and typically includes the clenching of the jaw. In most people, bruxism is mild enough not to be a health problem .Bruxism is one of the most common sleep disorders
Some times you are feeling angry ,you can not express your self ,so you are grinding Your Teeth during the day.
If you had a stressful day , you might grind your teeth at night . You will might be unaware of doing that all what you will feel pain in the jaw bones . All what you will do is looking for analgesic to take and you do not know the cause .
The pain is not the only problem but after a period of time you will have many problems in your mouth , you will get tooth hypersensitivity to the hot and cold, problems in the gums and that problems will extend to the jaw bones that will lead to tooth mobility ,and loss.

I hope it will help you .
- Get More Calcium, magnesium ,and potassium
Add more calcium and magnesium to your meal .These minerals help your jaw muscles relax, particularly at night.
Calcium, potassium and magnesium work together inside the body. It is important to find the right balance of each of these for optimal absorption.
Foods Rich In Calcium : milk, cheese and yogurt ,dark leafy vegetables. Kale, turnip greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts and cabbage are rich sources of calcium. Canned fish (with bones), such as salmon, sardines and mackerel are also good choices.
Foods High In Magnesium : Almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds and brazil nuts are some good choices. Barley, quinoa and whole wheat flour are others. Swiss chard, spinach and white and black beans are also important sources of magnesium.
Foods Containing Potassium : Fruits rich in potassium include bananas, apricots, prunes, dates, cantaloupe, watermelon and strawberries. Foods such as salmon, beans, turkey and fish also contain potassium as do peas, greens, spinach and tomatoes. If you are consuming three of these items a day, you are probably getting enough potassium.
2. Avoid too much Caffeine . This is especially important in the evening.Avoid caffeinated drinks. Since caffeine is a stimulant, if you drink coffee, black tea, or caffeinated soft drinks, you're far more likely to grind your teeth while you sleep .
I had post about
3. Don’t Stress Before Going To Bed .
Avoid stressful thoughts, activities, and movies in the hours before bedtime. You probably don't realize it, but just before bed is the worst time to pay the bills, watch action films, or talk about your in-laws. Get to your finances, violent movies, and sensitive subjects early in the evening. Take a long, warm bath before you go to bed. While you're in the bath — or even when you're lying in bed — cover your jaw with a washcloth that's been soaked in hot water hot fomentation . The extra warmth will relax your jaw muscles.
4. Relax Your Jaw .
During the day, try to keep your jaw relaxed and your teeth apart , rest your tongue between your upper( top ) and lower teeth — so if you start to bite down, you'll chomp or close on some nerve endings. Doctors have observed that people who can break the daytime teeth-grinding habit are less likely to do it unconsciously at night.
Avoid excessively hard or chewy foods — not only gum and hard candy, but also steak or dried foods that require a lot of jaw action. And if you're in the habit of chewing on the end of your pencil, try to stop. When you work your jaws during the day, the pattern is likely to continue in your sleep.
Mouth Guard For Bruxism
5. Wear a Mouth Guard.
That is the last point , if you keep on grinding your teeth you can use that device to protect your teeth from grinding during sleep .
A mouth-guard also known as a mouth protector, is a protective device for the mouth that covers the teeth and gums to prevent and reduce injury to the teeth, arches, lips and gums. Mouthguards are most often used to prevent injury in contact sports, as a treatment for bruxism or TMD, or as part of certain dental procedures, such as tooth bleaching.
I hope it was useful .
